CCC Plastics produces a full range of colorants to meet our customers' specific requirements.  This can include custom color matches based on a variety of pigment systems including heavy metal and diarylide types.   Products can be provided to meet all regulatory requirements such as heavy metal free (CONEG), FDA complicance, HPB non objection status and Proposition 65.  In addition, we are able to offer special effects concentrates including Pearlescents, Fluorescents, Phosphorescents and Metallics.

Our state of the art equipment provides superior dispersion characteristics to ensure optimum performance in color strength and tone.  The result is a cost effective solution to meet customers' coloring needs. 

CCC Plastics provides colorant and additive combination products for those applications that require additional performance characteristics.  This could include but not limited to process aids, slips and UV's.

Colorants are offered based on the following carriers:
Polyethylene - high density, linear low and low density
Polypropylene - homopolymer and copolymer
Polystyrene - high impact and general purpose
PVC - flexible and rigid
EVA

Applications serviced include film extrusion, blow molding, injection molding, extrusion coating, pipe and conduit, wire and cable or sheet extrusion.

Required to provide a color match:
1.  Standard (final product, Pantone color number, previously formulated color masterbatch)
2.  Application requirements

• the application
• the base resin used
• regulatory requirements (FDA, HPB, etc)
• requested life time of the product if exposed to sunlight
• production process and temperature
• let down ratio
• part thickness
• color tolerance
