Position:        Technical Sales Representative, CCC Industrial Water, Energy Division

Location:       Edmonton or Calgary and surrounding areas (home office)

Reports to:    Sales Supervisor, CCC Industrial Water

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maximize long term sales and profits for your territory
  • Travel frequently within Alberta, BC & Saskatchewan
  • Represent CCC Chemicals as the distributor and manufacturer of choice in the marketplace

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • University degree or technical diploma from a recognized institution in Chemistry or Science with Chemistry focus
  • Minimum 2 -5 years of successful technical sales in a directly related area
  • Knowledge of the Industrial Water Treatment industry in Canada, with application into O&G, Pulp and Paper, Groundwater, Cooling Towers, Boilers, and other industrial areas
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Above average skills with a PC
  • Entrepreneurial attitude

Position:        Product Manager, CCC Ingredients

Location:       Mississauga, ON

Reports to:    Business Director, CCC Ingredients

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assume P&L management responsibility for many of our vendors
  • Constantly review product offerings, identify deficiencies/gaps and help secure new suppliers/product lines to strengthen our position and grow the business
  • Regularly evaluate the contribution of suppliers/product lines
  • “Sell” CCC to prospective new suppliers
  • Work with Sales staff to ensure proper promotion and coverage of all products
  • Work with Logistics and other functions to ensure seamless and profitable movement of products from suppliers, through CCC, to the customers

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 3 years technical sales experience in the food, fine chemicals and/or pharmaceutical areas
  • Related Product Management experience
  •  Experience working with suppliers
  • BSc in Food Science, Chemistry or a related discipline
  • Self-starter
  • Strong entrepreneurial attitude
  • Above average interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong team player
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Avenue

Position:        Operations Supervisor

Location:       Vancouver, BC

Reports to:    Operations Manager, Vancouver

 Because of the size of the operation, this position is expected to be 50% office and 50% plant/warehouse depending on the priorities at any given time.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To assist in the operation of the Delta Distribution Centre
  • Ensure conformance to all company policies including health, safety and environmental procedures to make certain that they are not violated and to take corrective action as required
  • Provide leadership and assist in employee training and licenses relevant to their position and ensure that competent personnel perform all operations
  • Provide an atmosphere fostering a cooperative working relationship between management and employees within the operations group to encourage a high level of morale
  • Interface effectively with other company departments to achieve corporate goals
  • Ensure use of all Responsible Care codes as mandated by the CIAC

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post secondary education with five years supervisory experience in an operations environment
  • Knowledge of the chemical distribution or related business
  • Proficiency in MS Office required and familiarity with an inventory management system
  • Familiarity with T.D.G, O.H.&S., W.H.M.I.S and Municipal, Provincial and Federal regulations
  • Willingness to work in both an office and a warehouse environment
  • Excellent communication and written skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • A valid Forklift certificate/licence
